A small collection of abstract paintings produced over the last decade.

Many of my works have been sold, gifted or destroyed without documentation but these are the lucky few to have been photographed.

My abstract process is varied, with earlier works dealing a lot with subtle explorations of depth - leaning into the shallowness of abstract expressionism but using layering, blurring and airbrushing to modify depth without relying on perspective or colour.

Some works are abstractions from famous paintings, while others are freer in their style, attempting to sidestep traditional ideas of unity, 'overall' composition and resolution.
