A nascent series of drawings investigating simple arrangements of overlapping circles. I apply different softness of pencil and subtle shifts in pressure to force forms to gently recede or protrude.

I am working towards a deconstruction of the curvillinear form in some of these drawings and experimenting with partial erasure of sections of the curves to emphasise fragility and create a sense of disappearance.
